Le sigh.
When did we decide to start calling it a...
I’m someone who likes to use out-of-register words in social situations (eg. perambulate instead of walk). It however tends to be a technique to lighten the mood or a way of endearing myself to the people around me.
Why in the US do you call it a “beverage” and not a “drink”? If I offer someone a “drink”, is it pre-loaded such that it becomes an...
In this day and age of underpants bombers...
I’m concerned that the TSA will decide that the best way to check for explosives is a swift kick in the crotch. I wouldn’t put it past them. Good thing I’ll be home in a couple of days :)
Hitting my last stop tomorrow...
Portland, last but not least, coming what seems to be altogether too soon.

Please Do Not Tell Me Merry X-Mas
This is a repost from last year, but I was going through my archives, and think that the sentiment is still valid.

If you take Christ out of Christmas, then what’s the point? Right?
Well, it’s really the next step, isn’t it? I mean really, Christmas has been so sanitised over the years. Am I really supposed to believe, as the carols suggest, that Jesus didn’t cry?...
I have arrived in DC
And apparently a snowstorm is not far behind me… Fun.

This is something I’ve been wrestling with as I’ve been reading over the last few days. I’m being challenged. I’m not sure quite what I’m being challenged to do.
Only two flights left to book.
I may just finish this trip without going into debt. This is a good thing.

Last year I told Tumblr what I wanted for...
(See the original post here)
Let’s see how they went.
To see how many times I have liked and reblogged a certain user This has sort of been done, I now can see how many times I’ve liked the nine users I’ve liked most
To see if a user reciprocates my following them on their posts on my dashboard To be honest, I don’t care anymore
A better system of tagging so that...
Half way through sequencing this mix tape.
I take this seriously, yo.
On being wrong (about carols)
So I’ve told a lot of people I don’t like most carols. That’s true. I then told people the only acceptable Christmassy music for me was Sufjan Stevens’ Christmas album. Then, 8-Bit Christmas came out, and is awesome. So then there were two.
Today, after some muppet inspiration and some Weezer inspiration, I went looking for some other versions of carols that I might...
And today...

Perfect list to fill my 4 days with. I don’t think I’ll cover the full 101, though.
