On my return to 35mm
I write this post with my new Olympus Trip 35 showing indicating between 34 and 36 shots taken (which I generally assume to be 35, but I’ve never been that good with counting) on my first roll of 35mm film in a long time. Too many cameras?
The other day, I posted about having bought my 8th camera. The responses (mostly on Facebook) were interesting. After one person offered to take a camera off my hands, I was told I had too many cameras, that I had a problem and that it was “excessive”. Now I understand that this was mostly in jest, but all the same I think it demonstrates an underlying misunderstanding.

Ignite Sydney
This is perhaps most relevant for anyone in Sydney, but I’ll be presenting at Ignite Sydney 4, which is a fun night with 14 presenters each with 20 slides and 5 minutes (the slides automatically change every 15 seconds).
