James Blake - Lindisfarne

There is something about this song, a certain je ne sais quoi to it which makes it addictive. It’s uncomfortable. It doesn’t sit on a steady groove. It gets under your skin and it keeps on wriggling there. Quite honestly, my skin is crawling just thinking about it.

Therein lies the magic. It captures a sense of unresolvedness, imperfection, flux, tension, and a desire for resolution. Something, which is an innate part of being human. We all know that something has gone dreadfully wrong; we’re searching for the resolution and we just can’t find it.

Or maybe the song is just creepy.
