Conroy, Percy and Lee-Quin (from my Flickr)
This photo is pretty special to me: I was looking after these three guys on a camp that I helped run in South Africa in December/January ‘07. I don’t know how much I impacted them, but they certainly impacted me.
A little bit about these guys: Conroy is heavily effected by Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, Percy tells us that his mother stabbed his biological dad to death a couple of months ago and Lee-Quin is best described as driven solely by instinct, with little to no social skills and a massive need for love and affection. These were just three of the boys we were working with.
